Position Description
Performs supervisory work in the care and maintenance of an assigned area. Supervises and coordinates workers in areas such as agriculture, athletics, grounds, housing and residence halls, physical plant, maintenance, etc.

About the Department and/or College

Major/Essential Functions

Provides leadership and direct oversight for the assigned Building Maintenance team by coordinating and prioritizing work orders, managing operational resources, and collaborating with fellow Superintendents, skilled trades partners, and Facilities leadership to ensure timely completion of projects, while also independently completing complex repairs and performing a variety of skilled maintenance tasks across multiple trades, collaborating with staff and addressing issues.
Conducts and reviews quality control inspections, facility reports, and preventative maintenance or seasonal project plans across assigned building systems, providing feedback to staff, sharing key findings with Facilities leadership, and implementing proactive measures to address maintenance, safety, and operational needs.
Recruit, train, directly supervise, and evaluate the activities of one full-time senior tradesperson and two full-time tradesperson staff. Contribute to monitor the ongoing professional development, including 1x1 meetings with assigned staff.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and three years experience related to assigned area; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal seven years.

$28.37 - $37.07 - $45.63
